Conte speaks with Nainggolan to explain potential role at Chelsea
It's no secret Antonio Conte is an admirer of Radja Nainggolan, but the Italian manager is going above and beyond in his attempt to lure the Belgian midfielder to Stamford Bridge.
After admitting Monday that "there has been contact" between Chelsea and AS Roma," Nainggolan revealed the extent of the discussions Wednesday, saying that Conte, who previously tempted the player with a move to Juventus, has spoken to him about how he would fit in with the Blues.

Nainggolan already made it clear that he's "very happy" at Roma, but his latest words on the matter divulged that Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois are also trying to entice him with a transfer.
"He already wanted me when he was the Juve manager, but I'd already said I would never leave Roma for Juve," Nainggolan said, according to Dominic Fifield of the Guardian. "Now he tries to get me to Chelsea. Conte told me what he expects from me and what type of player I can be for him. I'll never be a player who'll score 20 goals or give 20 assists, I'm not the one who'll be in the picture all the time. I can be important for a team. A manager who appreciates that is important for me. But they (Hazard and Courtois) have also told me to join them."
Nainggolan added: "I know Chelsea are a big club, but I have to take several things into account. It's not easy to leave Italy behind after 12 years. I need to become better through a transfer, in all ways, so I won't leave for a small difference."
Roma is reportedly reluctant to sell Nainggolan and would seek at least £32 million for his services, and Chelsea saw an opening offer rejected that was valued at £23 million plus performance-related bonuses.
