Weather Watch - Sunday, June 19

Here is a look at the MLB weather picture for Sunday (all times ET):

Dome Games: Cincinnati Reds at Houston Astros; Colorado Rockies at Miami Marlins; San Francisco Giants at Tampa Bay Rays

Atlanta Braves at New York Mets, 1:10 p.m.

Temperatures will sit in the mid-80s and neither humidity nor rain will play a factor in this game. Of some note, winds are expected to pick up to roughly eight MPH by game's end and will generally blow from home plate out towards left field, giving a slight boost to right-handed pull-hitters.

Risk Factor: 1

Chicago White Sox at Cleveland Indians, 1:10 p.m.

A six MPH breeze will come in from right field towards the dish but besides that, it looks like clear skies and nearly no chance of rain for what is sure to be the one sporting event that everyone in Cleveland cares about today.

Risk Factor: 0

Arizona Diamondbacks at Philadelphia Phillies, 1:35 p.m.

Like many of the games on today's slate, this one will have picture-perfect weather. Once again, winds will play a role, favoring hitters throughout and peaking at 10 MPH early in the game before dropping off.

Risk Factor: 0

Seattle Mariners at Boston Red Sox, 1:35 p.m.

Fenway Park can claim some of the strongest winds on the slate, reaching as high as 11 MPH. That extra boost could help some atypical batters fulfill childhood dreams of homering over the Green Monster in left field. You might want to stay clear of flyball pitchers.

Risk Factor: 1

Toronto Blue Jays at Baltimore Orioles, 1:35 p.m.

High-80s temperature, low humidity and clear skies with no rain in the forecast. The breeze will generally favor batters but Camden Yards is one of the premier hitter's parks regardless.

Risk Factor: 0

New York Yankees at Minnesota Twins, 2:10 p.m.

Temperatures will reach the low-90s but as they say: "it's not the heat -- it's the humidity." Higher humidity allows fly balls to soar through the air with less friction, giving a slight power boost. With strong winds as high as 11 MPH cutting right-to-left across the field, there could be some increased extra-base hitting in Minnesota.

Risk Factor: 1

Detroit Tigers at Kansas City Royals, 2:15 p.m.

Moderate humidity and a breeze moving from home plate out to left field shouldn't play a factor in today's game.

Risk Factor: 0

Texas Rangers at St. Louis Cardinals, 2:15 p.m.

While most of the mid-west will look like a postcard, St. Louis will have the only worrisome weather to speak of. An 18 percent chance of precipitation shouldn't cause much of a delay -- if any -- on its own but chances of thunderstorms may persist throughout the afternoon, creating the potential for the game to be delayed if conditions become unsafe.

Risk Factor: 5

Los Angeles Angels at Oakland Athletics, 4:05

Clear skies, no chance of rain and winds moving from home plate to right field won't be an issue. With Game 7 of the NBA Finals being played just next door at Oracle Arena later this evening, there might be more runs scored than attendees for today's Angels-Athletics matchup.

Risk Factor: 0

Milwaukee Brewers at Los Angeles Dodgers, 4:10 p.m.

The weather system moving over Chavez Ravine is an odd one. Temperatures will rise as high as 96 Fahrenheit but the skies will be partly cloudy. And despite a 10 percent chance of rain, it won't necessarily be a muggy afternoon as the humidity will sit at a relatively dry 20 percent. Winds will favor the batter.

Risk Factor: 2

Washington Nationals at San Diego Padres, 4:40 p.m.

Humidity will sit in the 50-to-60 percent range but any power boost will be mitigated by winds that will move across the field from the left field foul pole to the first base dugout. Don't expect many long balls.

Risk Factor: 1

Pittsburgh Pirates at Chicago Cubs, 8:08 p.m.

Somebody will have to water the outfield fence in Chicago because nature isn't going to get the job done; there is a zero percent chance of rain. The breeze will favor the batter. Welcome to historic Wrigley Field, Jameson Taillon!
