A day after he was reportedly sent home for cussing out his manager, Anthony Gose didn't show up to the game Sunday.

Gose, playing for Triple-A Toledo, had a confrontation in the first game of a Saturday doubleheader with Lloyd McClendon, who promptly sent him home.

Now front office is trying to decide what to do after his locker was apparently cleared out and the outfielder neglected to show up to the clubhouse on Sunday, according to George Sipple of the Detroit Free Press.

Gose was optioned in May by the Detroit Tigers. He's struggling mightily, batting .185./255/.266 since his demotion.

McClendon, the former Seattle Mariners manager, didn't comment on the matter, and further discipline hasn't been decided.
