Fantasy Fallout: Browns' skilled receiving corps a challenge with QB carousel
Here are fantasy implications of the left shoulder injury which will sideline Cleveland Browns QB Josh McCown for at least Week 3:

In what seems like a joke that has gone on way too long, the Browns will start their third different quarterback in as many games in 2016.
It's unsure how long McCown will remain sidelined, but a multi-week injury is certainly a possibility. Those who invest FAAB dollars into him following the preceding injury to Week 1 starter Robert Griffin III, can go ahead and cut bait.
Kessler holds no value outside of two-QB dynasty leagues, where his value is already minimalized. He may emerge as a streamable option with talented weapons around him, but he can be left on the waiver wire until then.

Passing game effect
Much was made in the preseason of the relationship forming between Griffin III and WR Terrelle Pryor Sr. Before last week, owners looked for positives in the camaraderie between McCown, TE Gary Barnidge and RB Duke Johnson Jr.
Pryor was leading the two in targets, but Corey Coleman and Johnson shared the reception lead. Corey Coleman led the team in yards and was the only member of the receiving corps to score a touchdown. It's a serviceable group of pass catchers, all but certain to have WR Josh Gordon join them for Week 5.
They all suffer, at least for now, with the announcement of Kessler as the starter. The offense will likely focus on RB Isaiah Crowell, but so will opposing defenses. Crowell can be viewed as a cash-game play with a heavy workload.
Crowell and Gordon are the only ones worth owning in season-long leagues. Owners should be hoping for a real-world trade sending Gordon out of town.
