Here are theScore's catcher value rankings for Friday, September 23 (all stats exclude Thursday's games):

Value Rankings
C | 1B/DH | 2B | SS | 3B | OF | SP

Top Options

NAME VALUE OPPONENT
Manny Pina (MIL) vs. CIN 9
Wilson Ramos (WAS) at PIT 8
Buster Posey (SF) at SD 8

Pina has only appeared in 26 games to date, but he's sporting a .294/.368/.471 line against right-handed pitchers this season. Anthony DeSclafani is one of the better pitchers on the slate but Miller Park has historically favored hitters. Pina has an opportunity to return tournament value at his near-minimum price if he makes the starting lineup.

Edwin Jackson has a 6.34 ERA over his last 10 games and gave up eight earned runs on 10 hits in his last outing, so Posey and the Giants are in a great position to have a big day at the plate.

Mid-Tier Targets

NAME VALUE OPPONENT
Francisco Cervelli (PIT) vs. WAS 7
Russell Martin (TOR) vs. NYY 5
Salvador Perez (KC) at DET 5

Cervelli is the scourge of left-handed pitchers everywhere. In 59 PAs against southpaws this season, the Pirates' backstop has hit .408/.508/.429. Unfortunately, he offers almost no power; he has zero home runs and only 12 doubles with one triple. Still, if he can tag Nationals LHP Gio Gonzalez with a couple of hits, he won't have to overwhelm with one big hit to return DFS value.

Nothing to See Here

NAME VALUE OPPONENT
Sandy Leon (BOS) at TB 4
Yasmani Grandal (LAD) vs. COL 3
Brian McCann (NYY) at TOR 3

Leon is having a breakout season as a member of the league's best offense but his recent 5-for-34 stretch doesn't instill much confidence on Friday. He's gone hitless in six of his last 10 games and will have to contend with Chris Archer. If he were slightly cheaper, he could be used as a contrarian flier, but he hasn't done enough lately to warrant DFS inclusion.
