Here are theScore's catcher value rankings for Saturday, September 24 (all stats exclude Friday's games):

Value Rankings
C | 1B/DH | 2B | SS | 3B | OF | SP

Top Options

NAME VALUE OPPONENT
Gary Sanchez (NYY) at TOR 9
Jonathan Lucroy (TEX) at OAK 9
J.T. Realmuto (MIA) vs. ATL 8

Marcus Stroman has allowed three or fewer earned runs in eight of his last nine starts but he might be in over his head against star-in-the-making Sanchez, who boasts a 1.255 OPS vs. RHPs in 141 plate appearances. Sanchez leads his position in DFS salary but he arguably has the highest ceiling of anyone not named Lucroy or Posey.

If you're looking for a safe play at a lower price, Realmuto has a soft matchup against the Braves' Aaron Blair (7.71 ERA, 13 games) and has a .367 OBP against RHPs this season.

Mid-Tier Targets

NAME VALUE OPPONENT
Manny Pina (MIL) vs. CIN 7
Wilson Ramos (WAS) at PIT 6
Tyler Flowers (ATL) at MIA 5

Ramos is having a breakout campaign; he's already set new career highers in home runs, doubles, runs, RBIs and batting average and has another week or so to cement his All-Star 2016. He's done the bulk of his fantasy production versus lefties, against whom he's managed a .960 OPS, though he's still a solid mid-tier option against righties. He comes at a reduced price on Saturday.

Nothing to See Here

NAME VALUE OPPONENT
Salvador Perez (KC) at DET 4
Russell Martin (TOR) vs. NYY 4
Matt Wieters (BAL) vs. ARI 2

Wieters has an abominable .348 OPS over his last 10 games. To make matters worse, he faces a left-handed pitcher in Robbie Ray. While the Diamondbacks' youngster is erratic at the best of times, Wieters has an ugly .583 OPS against LHPs this season. His outlook is grim.
