Value Rankings
C | 1B/DH | 2B | SS | 3B | OF | SP
Top Options
NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Brad Peacock (HOU) | at LAA | 9 |
Carlos Rodon (CWS) | vs. MIN | 8 |
Taijuan Walker (SEA) | vs. OAK | 8 |
Peacock has made a nice adjustment to the Astros' rotation after spending most of his time in the bullpen. In four starts, he has a 2.25 ERA and allowed more than one run on just one occasion. He has yet to pitch beyond the sixth inning, but that could change if manager A.J. Hinch loosens his leash and lets him fly.
Rodon is coming off an outing where he pitched eight scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and three walks while whiffing 11 batters. He provides great value against a Twins team that seems to be packing it in early, batting just .190 over the past two weeks.

Mid-Tier Targets
NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Marco Estrada (TOR) | at BOS | 7 |
Rich Hill (LAD) | at SF | 7 |
Carlos Martinez (STL) | vs. PIT | 7 |
Estrada has had a terrible second half of the season, large in part due to pitching with a herniated disk in his back. However, he has reeled off back-to-back sensational outings, allowing a total of five hits and one run in 14 innings of work. He nearly no-hit the Red Sox earlier in the season and is a tremendous GPP option.

Nothing to See Here
NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Matt Wisler (ATL) | vs. DET | 2 |
Edwin Jackson (SD) | at ARI | 2 |
Tyler Duffey (MIN) | at CWS | 1 |
Duffey has an ERA of 8.00 in his last 10 starts. Minnesota's offense hasn't provided much run support lately, so there is no point in even considering him.
