Fury retracts retirement announcement: 'I'm here to stay'

Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury might have just set the record for the world's shortest retirement.

Less than three hours after appearing to announce his retirement on Twitter, Fury backpedaled, saying he's "here to stay."

The controversial Englishman described boxing as "the saddest thing I ever took part in" in his initial tweet, but it seems like he just intended to kick up a media storm for his own amusement.

Fury, 28, is reportedly expected to have his WBA, IBF, and WBO titles taken away after he tested posted for cocaine in a WADA-conducted random drug test.

However, Fury said he still intends to defend his heavyweight belts.

He dropped out of his title rematch with Wladimir Klitschko after his camp deemed him "medically unfit" to fight, just one day after the positive test was collected.
