Coyotes' Louis Domingue: Chance for redemption Friday

Domingue was named the starting road goalie for Friday's clash with the Islanders, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.

Analysis:

Working in place of injured starter Mike Smith (lower body), Domingue faltered in his start against the Habs on Thursday, allowing four goals on 19 shots before getting the heave-ho from bench boss Dave Tippett. Much like closers in baseball, NHL goalies cannot afford to dwell too much on the last dud performance, and Domingue will simply have to make up for it in the upcoming contest. He's still picking up the speed of the NHL game as a 24-year-old in his sophomore season, so be patient with Domingue if you've been using him in fantasy.
