Broncos stick Super Bowl trophies in locker room for motivation
With Thanksgiving weekend signifying the stretch run toward the playoffs, the Denver Broncos have put a reminder of what they're fighting for in the locker room.
Head coach Gary Kubiak said Denver's three previous trophies - currently displayed in the locker room - don't do much for his team's preparation on a weekly basis, but he's happy to have the reminder front and center.
"Those things don't do you any good right now, it's a new year, a new battle," said Kubiak, according to ESPN's Jeff Legwold. "I think this team's really excited ... we're there, six weeks to play, a lot of big football games to play in, that's why we do what we do."

Quarterback Trevor Siemian didn't play much of a role in last year's championship run, but he, along with most Broncos players, was happy to see the hardware.
"Pretty cool, especially this home stretch for us, not that we need a reminder, it's cool to see them in there," Siemian said. "And that's the goal, that's what we're all working for."
