Tony Hawk confirms he's alive after death rumors

No, Tony Hawk isn't dead.
After a false report began circulating Thursday on Twitter claiming the iconic skateboarder had passed away from an opiate overdose, Hawk let his followers know he's still very much alive and well.
I'm still alive, just older (& wiser...?). But still breathing, riding my skateboard & raising kids.

While the rumor seems ridiculous, given the recent rash of celebrity deaths, it's understandable that some would fall for it. Still, Hawk would prefer that people fact check and not assume what they're reading is true.
