Here are theScore's sample Squad Up lineups for Monday, Jan. 16 (afternoon games excluded):
50-50 Lineup
POS | NAME | OPP | FPPG | SALARY |
---|---|---|---|---|
PG | Chris Paul (LAC) | vs. OKC | 42.3 | 84K |
SG | Brandon Knight (PHO) | vs. UTA | 18.9 | 27K |
SF | T.J. Warren (PHO) | vs. UTA | 22.7 | 43K |
PF | Draymond Green (GS) | vs. CLE | 37.1 | 74K |
C | DeAndre Jordan (LAC) | vs. OKC | 33.1 | 70K |
Rather than spend up on Russell Westbrook in coin games, opt for a combination of Paul and Jordan, who have both been sensational so far in January. Knight and Warren risk lower floors than normal due to the opponent, but you need to save somewhere - so opt for players who will at least see a decent chunk of minutes. Green should dominate against Cleveland.
Tournament Lineup
POS | NAME | OPP | FPPG | SALARY |
---|---|---|---|---|
PG | Russell Westbrook (OKC) | at LAC | 58.5 | 111K |
SG | Victor Oladipo (OKC) | at LAC | 27.4 | 50K |
SF | Jae Crowder (BOS) | vs. CHA | 25.0 | 56K |
PF | Derrick Favors (UTA) | at PHO | 19.9 | 48K |
C | Marreese Speights (LAC) | vs. OKC | 18.5 | 30K |
Westbrook will be a fixture in cash lineups, while Oladipo represents great savings with high upside despite a difficult opponent. Crowder can get hot at anytime, but his floor is low due to his reliance on the 3-point shot. You know what Favors is capable of in good matchups, and they don't get much better than this. Speights is a speculative play should the Clippers build a big lead.
