Romanian basketball player Robert Bobroczky first made waves in 2014 as a 7-foot-4 13-year-old. He's now 7-foot-7 and recently made his American high school debut for SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
Bobroczky played limited minutes in the game, which ended in a 87-51 loss to First Love Christian Academy of Washington, Pa.
"It felt nice to play finally," he told Lynden Ostrander of MaxPreps.com. "The game was as fast as I expected and I still need to work a lot. I just have to be patient and work, and the results will come."
The 16-year-old is taller than any of the NBA's current players, and is the second-tallest known basketball player in the world behind only 7-foot-8 Paul Sturgess, who played in the NBA D-League.
