Milos Teodosic 'seriously' considering move to NBA
The best player in Europe could be making his way stateside.
CSKA Moscow guard Milos Teodosic is set to hit free agency following the current campaign, and will face a major decision as teams far and wide are expected to come knocking on his door.
In a blog post Monday, the 6-foot-5 playmaker confirmed a move to the NBA is in play, and that he's open to joining a contender that meets his contractual demands.
It's true that I'm seriously thinking about the possibility of the NBA, but nothing has transpired yet, and nothing will until the summer. I've said before that, in order for me to go to the USA, a team has to meet both my competitive ambitions - which is the most important thing - and everything that has to do with the financial aspect as well as the aspect of the length of my contract.
It was reported last month that CSKA is hell-bent on keeping its starting point guard, who turned 30 on Sunday. Teodosic is currently leading the team with 7.2 assists per game to go along with 15.8 points on 54.8 percent shooting from the floor and 36.1 percent from long range.
Teodosic, who took home silver last summer in Rio with the Serbian team, has previously drawn interest from across the pond, with Memphis reportedly offering him a multi-year contract in 2013. It's believed he's seeking a deal worth more than $3 million annually.
