Arnold Schwarzenegger destroys troll for mocking Special Olympics
Arnold Schwarzenegger masterfully shut down an internet troll who insulted Special Olympic athletes.
It began when the 69-year-old actor and former governor of California shared a video on his Facebook page Thursday of himself with some of the medalists from the Special Olympics World Games 2017 in his native Austria, which he captioned, "These guys inspire me!"
The majority of responses were positive, but one commenter questioned the need for the Special Olympics and referred to the athletes as the R-word. Schwarzenegger fired back, writing: "As stupid and evil as this comment is, I'm not going to delete it or ban you (yet) because it's a teachable moment."
Both comments have since been deleted, but Twitter user Kyle O'Connor and others were able to get screenshots of the conversation before it disappeared.
