Jon Jones 'would love to fight Brock Lesnar' if he returns
Jon Jones may have to beef up for his next test after Daniel Cormier.
While Brock Lesnar is reportedly yet to enter the USADA's drug-testing protocol to return to the UFC, Jones told fans he'd be open to a match against the menacing heavyweight.
"I would love to fight Brock Lesnar," he said during a Facebook Live chat, according to Damon Martin of MMA Weekly. "He's a massive dude, it would be a massive draw, really big for the sport. It would be a great challenge. That's a big old boy."
Lesnar weighed in at 265 pounds in his last UFC bout, at least 60 pounds heavier than the weight Jones will fight at Saturday.
While Jones and Lesnar would make the largest purses of their career in a fight together, "Bones" is skeptical that the part-time WWE superstar would go through with a prospective bout.
"I doubt Brock Lesnar would take that fight, though," he said. "I definitely wouldn't try to wrestle with him the whole time. I'm not going to tell you what I would do."
