Von Miller didn't even know his Super Bowl helmet was missing
The investigators who retrieved Tom Brady's Super Bowl jerseys did such a good job, they even found a few things no one knew were missing.
Among the recovered items, Von Miller's helmet from Super Bowl 50 was found, though he was so busy being a star to notice the theft.
"I didn't even know my helmet was missing. That's how crazy last year was," Miller said Tuesday, according to his team website. "But we had the best of the best, the finest investigators on the whole ordeal. …
"They were able to find Tom's jersey, and they were able to find my helmet, as well. Hats off to those guys."
After winning the big game, Miller was busy fulfilling his duties as Super Bowl MVP, appearing on "Saturday Night Live," trolling Cam Newton, visiting the White House, and dancing with the stars.
Even a year later, Miller is still too busy to find his helmet.
"It's here in Denver, but I just haven't had time to go over and get it," said Miller. "But the helmet is here, and as long as it's close, they've got it."
