North Carolina State's Maverick Rowan: Enters name in NBA Draft
Rowan has declared for the 2017 NBA Draft, but won't hire an agent, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Analysis:
Rowan's decision to hold off on hiring an agent allows him to potentially pull his name out prior to the withdrawal deadline. However, he'll look to get invited to the NBA Combine, where he'd have the chance to work out for, and interview with, NBA teams and get feedback on his potential to be drafted. Rowan finished his sophomore season with averages of 12.0 points and 3.7 rebounds across 29.9 minutes and the fact that his name isn't floating around too many mock drafts could be a good indication he ends up returning for his junior campaign.
