No matter what jersey he has on, Ichiro Suzuki will always be beloved by Seattle Mariners fans.
In his first visit to Safeco Field as a member of the Miami Marlins, the crowd at Safeco Field showered the Japanese legend in applause during his first at-bat.
Ichiro also received another raucous ovation pregame when he posed with Mariners brass for a photo while walking out on a special red carpet.
Ichiro played 12 seasons for the Mariners between 2001-12, amassing 2,533 hits with the club while also winning MVP and Rookie of the Year honors in his debut season.
