Horford is done giving Wizards' Morris 'the time of day'
The chippy play between the Washington Wizards and Boston Celtics has featured Markieff Morris versus Al Horford through two games of the Eastern Conference semifinal, but Horford isn't interested in talking about Morris.
"I'm not going to give him any more play," Horford said Wednesday, according to ESPN's Chris Forsberg. "That's it. Again, I'm not going to give him the time of day."
The two big men have had close encounters in both contests so far. Morris landed on Horford's foot in Game 1, and later suggested it may have been a Bruce Bowen special. In Game 2, Morris appeared to swing Horford into the first row while both chased a loose ball.
Morris, who's no stranger to confrontation, also picked up a technical in Game 2 along with Boston's Isaiah Thomas after Otto Porter was smacked.
The two teams have a history, with Jae Crowder squaring off with John Wall at the end of a January win by the Celtics. Two weeks later, the Wizards won the rematch after wearing black to the game, signifying a funeral.
Boston leads the series 2-0 heading to Washington on Thursday night.
