Billups signs multi-year deal with ESPN
Chauncey Billups has signed a multi-year deal with ESPN to continue working as an NBA analyst, the network announced Friday.
Billups quickly moved up the ranks since joining ESPN in 2014, working as a full-time analyst on "NBA Countdown" this season.
"The insight, dedication, and leadership that made Chauncey an NBA Finals MVP also make him a tremendous NBA analyst," ESPN's vice president of original content, Kevin Wildes, said in a statement. "His team-first approach to the show makes him a pleasure to work with and a joy to watch."
The 17-year veteran spent time with seven different organizations throughout his NBA career, averaging 15.2 points, 5.4 assists, and 2.9 rebounds over 1,043 games.
Billups will serve as player-captain this summer in the upcoming BIG3 league.
