Tom Dumoulin was forced to pull over midway through stage 16 of the Giro d'Italia on Tuesday when nature called.
Cameras were rolling as the Dutch cyclist, who entered the stage as the overall leader, quickly removed his gear and squatted on the side of the road.
Asked afterward about what happened, Dumoulin put it bluntly: "I needed to take a dump. I could not hold it anymore."
