Tiger blew .000 on breath test after police found him asleep in his car
Details are emerging after Tiger Woods was charged with DUI early Monday morning.
Woods was found asleep in his car by Jupiter, Fla., police, according to police records obtained by the Palm Beach Post. While the 41-year-old had "extremely slow and slurred speech," he blew .000 on his breath test.
On Monday night, Woods released a statement apologizing for his arrest, saying alcohol wasn't involved in the incident and that he had an adverse reaction to prescribed medications.
Woods is scheduled for an arraignment hearing on July 5.
Currently recovering from fusion surgery on his back, Woods' car was running when he was found, he had his seatbelt on in the driver's seat, and his right blinker was flashing.
According to Woods' own statement to police, he didn't know where he was, and while he was cooperative with authorities, he was mumbling and confused at the time of his arrest.
