Does Mayweather Promotions have Aug. 26 reserved for McGregor fight?
Floyd Mayweather can't make a dinner reservation these days without people wondering if Conor McGregor will be joining him.
The latest bit of speculation regarding the crossover megafight between Mayweather and the UFC's biggest star revolves around an Aug. 26 Mayweather Promotions professional boxing event in Las Vegas being listed on the Nevada State Athletic Commission website:

As pointed out by Bloody Elbow's Mookie Alexander, the announcement comes suspiciously on the heels of McGregor releasing a typically cryptic message on Instagram promising that "Something BIG is coming":
McGregor also attached the hashtag "BP," which doesn't have any obvious meaning. Something to the effect of "big payday" would make a lot of sense, though, given the massive interest in seeing these two combat-sports icons throw down.
It's entirely possible that the event will be a showcase for another Mayweather-signed fighter, but you can add this to the bread crumbs left in the wake of his ongoing negotiations with McGregor.
