Floyd Mayweather's camp is targeting Aug. 26 as the date of a potential superfight against UFC's Conor McGregor, a source informed Dan Rafael of ESPN.
Mayweather Promotions will formally request to the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) for the fight to be held on that Saturday.
Word of Aug. 26 as the date of the bout first made waves Monday afternoon when a boxing event held by Mayweather Promotions was scheduled on the NSAC website.
