Report: Knicks, Bulls interested in Josh Jackson
Both the New York Knicks and Chicago Bulls are interested in landing former Kansas freshman Josh Jackson, who's currently projected to be taken in the top five of the draft, sources tell ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.
The Knicks have the eighth overall pick, while Chicago possesses the No. 16 selection, meaning either would almost certainly need to trade up to land the 20-year-old forward.
The Boston Celtics currently own the No. 3 pick and have reportedly shown interest in acquiring both Jimmy Butler and Kristaps Porzingis, making them a likely trade partner for either team.
While a number of clubs have been connected to Butler, a Porzingis deal appears less probable, as the Knicks' asking price is reportedly too high.
Jackson is coming off a strong season with the Jayhawks, averaging 16.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, three assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.1 blocks on 51.3 percent shooting.
