Astros' Bregman deletes Twitter account after blasting fan in DMs

After a combative slide into the direct messages of a fan who raised the possibility of trading him, Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman decided to delete his Twitter account.
While discussing potential trade scenarios Sunday on Twitter with another Astros supporter, the fan, whose handle is @AllenH83, suggested making Bregman the centerpiece of any trade, as it would allow the club to retain top prospects Kyle Tucker and Derek Fisher while also giving Marwin Gonzalez everyday at-bats.
why I would make Bregman centerpiece of any trade. decreases number of farm guys give up instantly. Move Fisher to LF,Marwin full time 3rd

Bregman being centerpiece saves you Tucker or Fisher or both. Compared to both being in a deal possibly. With Marwin getting more ABs

The suggestion didn't sit well with Bregman - the former second overall pick who managed a .757 OPS and eight homers through the first half of the 2017 season - and he decided to let Allen know about it, telling him he has "zero clue about baseball" before calling him a flea "on the nutsack of society."

After screencaps of the exchange were posted online, Bregman deleted his account.
