Report: Anthony won't consider joining Trail Blazers
It seems inevitable that New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony will end up either in a Houston Rockets jersey or stuck in the same Knicks sweater he has been donning since 2011.
That two-way street seemingly got a bit clearer Tuesday, as ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Melo wouldn't consider waiving his no trade clause to join the Portland Trail Blazers.
"Portland would love to get involved in this and become a team that Melo would consider. ... But right now, that's not something Melo's considering," stated Wojnarowski.
The Trail Blazers quietly crept into the mix for Anthony's services over the past week, as Portland players supposedly reached out to the veteran small forward about moving west.

Trade talks surrounding Melo have gone on for months now, but the newly formed New York front-office duo of general manager Scott Perry and president Steve Mills continue to sit on the fence regarding any potential deal.
