Mike Tyson showed his emotional side while discussing the impact his late trainer, Cus D'Amato, had on him in an "E:60" interview with Jeremy Schapp that aired Sunday.
As the former heavyweight boxing champion recalled, D'Amato, who adopted Tyson after his mother passed away, knew from an early age that there was something special about him.
"He just met me. I'm a little kid, he says, 'You're going to be the world champ,'" Tyson said.
Tyson also opened up about being molested as a child, telling Schapp that while he felt shame after the incident, he also learned "it doesn't mean that you're any less of a man because it happened."
