It took nearly an hour before one of the nets rippled at Soldier Field, but the crowd in Chicago had Borja Mayoral to thank for finding a goal at long last as the young Real Madrid striker opened the scoring against the MLS All-Stars.
The goal came off the back of a smart pass by Dani Ceballos, who broke the MLS backline and found his 20-year-old teammate free in space. His shot took a bit of a deflection off a lunging Matt Hedges, but still beat 'keeper Stefan Frei.
