Chris Paul is looking out for the city of Houston.
The Rockets' new point guard donated $50,000 to J.J. Watt's fundraising campaign to assist the victims of Hurricane Harvey, helping the Texans defensive end surpass his goal of $500,000.
Watt tweeted out his appreciation to Paul shortly after:
The generosity of @CP3's $50k donation is actually what put us over the $500k mark. Phenomenal stuff from donations both large and small.

Paul also donated an additional $25,000 to the American Red Cross, according to TMZ Sports.
A number of players have shown their support to Houston over the past couple days, including free-agent swingman Gerald Green, who drove around Monday looking for people in need of help.
