Rodgers jokes about backlash for cameramen kneeling during anthem

Aaron Rodgers always seems to find the humor in things.

After presumably receiving criticism from fans - for linking arms with his teammates during Sunday's anthem and asking fans to do the same this Thursday night - the Green Bay Packers quarterback pointed to the fact that others on the field aren't standing for the song.

That came after Rodgers, speaking Monday about anthem protests, said he'd seen and heard ugly things on his social media accounts, and that they stem from a lack of understanding of what the demonstrations are about.

"There's been a lot of hatred on my social media, probably other people's social media as well. Frankly don't understand it, a lot of it," Rodgers said, according to ESPN's Jason Wilde. "It's never been about the military or our men and women in uniform. Like I said after the game (on Sunday), we love and support them and each of us I'm sure have done charity for them."
