After the tragic mass shooting that shook Las Vegas last week, uniting a city in the wake of tragedy was much more important than a hockey game, and the Golden Knights did an outstanding job tying the two together at their home opener Tuesday night.
For each player who was introduced, a first responder was by their side, as the team paid tribute to their heroic efforts.
