Michigan lands 4-star TE Mustapha Muhammad
Four-star tight end Mustapha Muhammad announced Friday he's accepted a scholarship offer to play at Michigan next season.
"Michigan is a very different, special place for me," Muhammad told ESPN's Tom VanHaaren. "It is the closest thing I can think of to a perfect fit. The environment, family vibe, coaching staff, pro-style system, connection for post grad, NFL pipeline, nearby mosques and very large Muslim population in the surrounding areas of Michigan, the culture, the fans - the team, the team, the team - are all reasons I am a Wolverine."
Muhammad, a native of Missouri City, Texas, took an official visit to UCLA at the end of September, and held scholarship offers from numerous other schools, including Texas, Alabama, and Georgia.
The 6-foot-4, 235-pounder is ranked 44th overall on the ESPN 300.
