Astros' Altuve: 'I literally love Justin Verlander'

Jose Altuve knows just how much starting pitcher Justin Verlander has meant to the Houston Astros since the team acquired him at the end of August. Undefeated with Houston, Verlander has saved his best for the ALCS against the New York Yankees.

Following Friday's 7-1 victory, which featured Verlander shutting the Yankees down for seven strong innings, Altuve let the world know what he thinks of his relatively new teammate:

Someone, however, may not be too keen on Altuve encroaching:

The second baseman drove in three of the Astros' seven runs in support of Verlander's stellar outing.

The Astros and Yankees will play one more game on Saturday to determine who will face the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series.
