Lasco, who is primarily used as a special teamer, was down on the field following a kickoff in the second quarter. The second-year pro struck a Bills player with his head pointed down before falling to the ground.
The Saints released a statement on Lasco at halftime, according to Nick Underhill of The Advocate:
Daniel Lasco is being transported to a local hospital with a spine injury. Lasco has feeling in his extremities and Saints team doctor Michael Hartman is attending to him at the hospital.
