Durant jokes that fear of Embiid's tweets sparked Warriors' comeback
(Warning: Story/video contains coarse language)
Joel Embiid has found a way to get the most out of the players around him. That includes his opponents.
When asked about the mindset behind the Golden State Warriors' 24-point comeback win Saturday, Kevin Durant singled out the gregarious Philadelphia 76ers center for lighting a fire under the reigning champs.
Specifically, Embiid's penchant for social media trash talk meant that Durant and Co. would have to hear about the game for some time to come had they lost.

Embiid, ever present on the World Wide Web, evidently concurred with Durant's assessment, liking the above Tweet.
Durant finished with a rather subdued 27 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Embiid tallied 21 points, eight rebounds, and three assists in the losing effort.
The Warriors won 135-114 in Oakland on Nov. 11, and now that they've taken the second leg of the season series 124-116 in Philadelphia, the upstart Sixers will have to wait until next season to exact their revenge on the hardcourt.
That is, unless the Warriors and Sixers meet in the 2018 Finals.
