Sharks' Dillon to have hearing for slash on Capitals' Bowey

San Jose Sharks defenseman Brenden Dillon will face a hearing Tuesday night for his slash on Washington Capitals blue-liner Madison Bowey during Monday's game, the Department of Player Safety announced.
Here's the play, which occurred in the dying seconds of Washington's 4-1 victory:

Dillon was handed a five-minute major for the incident. He hasn't been suspended to this point in his career.
