NFL to speak with Seahawks, Jaguars after late-game antics
The NFL will speak with both the Seattle Seahawks and Jacksonville Jaguars about several incidents that took place at the end of their game on Sunday, ESPN's Dan Graziano reports.
The announcement came from league spokesman Joe Lockhart.
In the waning moments of the contest, Seahawks defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson was ejected for his role in a skirmish that included teammate Michael Bennett and Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette.
On the play in question, Bennett appeared to dive at the knees of a Jaguars offensive lineman before tackling him after the whistle.
On the next play, Hawks defensive end Quinton Jefferson was also ejected.
As he was leaving the field, fans threw drinks and debris at Jefferson, who then attempted to climb into the stands to confront the fans.
