Sylvester Stallone buys replica 'Rocky' statue for $400K

Sylvester Stallone dropped $403,657 on a replica of the original Rocky Balboa statue from "Rocky III."

The statue was auctioned off by SCP Auctions last month, but the identity of the buyer wasn't known until Stallone posted a video on Instagram this week of the figure being unloaded off a truck, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell.

The replica was made by sculptor Thomas A. Schomberg around the same time as the original, which is on display outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art. It stands approximately 12.5 feet tall and weighs 1,800 pounds.
