Brock Lesnar won't be playing Ivan Drago's son in "Creed II."
After months of speculation, Sylvester Stallone announced Monday that the character will be portrayed by 27-year-old Russian boxer Florian Munteanu. Dolph Lundgren will reprise his role as Drago, who first appeared in "Rocky IV."
"Creed II" will be Munteanu's acting debut, according to Justin Kroll of Variety.
Stallone posted an Instagram photo in December that seemed to suggest Lesnar might fill the role of Drago's son. UFC fighter Sage Northcutt also sent in an audition tape for the role.
