John Gibson and Ryan Miller teamed up to shut out the NHL's top team Monday night.
Gibson exited the game after the second period of the Anaheim Ducks' tilt with the Vegas Golden Knights with a lower-body injury, prompting Miller to come in for the final 20 minutes. The replacement was perfect, turning away all 20 shots thrown his way as the Ducks prevailed 2-0.
The win was extra crucial for the Ducks as it saw the team jump back into a playoff spot. They now sit third in the Pacific Division on 71 points, just one back of the San Jose Sharks for second place.
