The legal battle between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his former fiancee, Shantel Jackson, is headed to trial.

Mayweather and Jackson were ordered to return to court in April to discuss jury selection during a hearing at Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday, according to Nancy Dillon of the New York Daily News.

"I'd like to set this for trial. I understand it's complicated," Judge Monica Bachner said.

Jackson filed a lawsuit against Mayweather in September 2014 accusing the boxer of twisting her arm, choking her during an argument, and pointing a gun at her foot while asking, "Which toe do you want me to shoot?" She also stated that he caused further harm to her by posing a private sonogram photo on his Facebook page and accusing her of aborting their twins.

Mayweather filed a counter-suit in November claiming Jackson stole an undisclosed amount of money from him during their eight-year relationship and then shipped the items she bought to a secret location so he wouldn't find out.
