Newcastle United's Islam Slimani: Not training with squad

Slimani (thigh) is taking part in regimens with the club's medical staff, but has yet to rejoin the squad for full training session.

Analysis:

Slimani -- who suffered a setback in his recovery -- seems no closer to returning, as he will obviously need to get some work on the training grounds before returning to action. In the meantime, Ayoze Perez figures to continue featuring in the starting XI.
