The captain came up clutch on Saturday.
Sidney Crosby took advantage of a 2-on-1 with 1:12 left in overtime to score the winner and give the Pittsburgh Penguins a 2-1 victory over the New York Islanders.
With the goal, Crosby passed Mario Lemieux and tied Evgeni Malkin for the most regular-season overtime goals in franchise history with 12.
Crosby also became the third Penguin to hit 70 points this season, joining Malkin and Phil Kessel.
