Francesco Molinari: T25 at WGC-Mexico
Molinari fired a three-under 68 in the final round of the WGC-Mexico Championship to finish in a tie for 25th place.
Analysis:
Molinari got off to a pretty slow start as he was just one-under through his first 36 holes. He was able to go four-under on the weekend, and collect his first PGA Tour top-25 finish this season. As you would expect from Molinari, he was second in SG: Off-the-tee and fourth in SG: Tee-to-green. The putter is what really held him back, as he ranked 59th in SG: Putting and 58th in putts per GIR out of a total of 64 players. Molinari will not play the Valspar Championship, but is scheduled to return in two weeks at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
