Villanova listed as odds-on favorite to win NCAA tournament

The odds for the 2018 NCAA tournament have been released, and Villanova is the favorite to take home the crown.
The Wildcats, who opened the season at 12-1 odds, improved their stock to 7-2 with a 30-win season capped off with a Big East championship. Following closely behind is Duke at 5-1, and both Michigan State and Virginia at 6-1.

The biggest descent from the opening odds released last April was Kentucky, which fell from the favorite at 10-1 to 25-1 prior to the tournament. Texas Tech owns the biggest leap among the top favorites, coming in at 40-1 after opening at 300-1.
For fans looking to take a flier on the longest of long shots, NC Greensboro, Penn, and NC Central are all listed at 5000-1 odds.
