The New York Jets re-signed veteran quarterback Josh McCown to a one-year contract, his agent Mike McCartney announced Tuesday.
McCown's deal is worth $10 million, a source told Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
The Jets are reportedly also bringing in Teddy Bridgewater on a one-year contract, though McCown has been informed he will be the starter.
McCown started 13 games in 2017, throwing for just under 3,000 yards and 18 touchdowns to nine interceptions. He could act as a stopgap for one more year if the Jets presumably intend to draft a quarterback in the first round come April.
