The coach is ready to get back to work.
Arizona Coyotes bench boss Rick Tocchet will rejoin the team for Thursday's contest against the Nashville Predators, three days after taking a leave of absence due to a family illness, assistant coach John MacLean told Craig Morgan of AZ Sports.
Tocchet missed one game while away from the team, a 4-3 shootout win over the Los Angeles Kings in which MacLean assumed the head duties.
The former Coyotes forward is in his first year behind the Arizona bench.
