While his collegiate career is over, Ryan Donato is still hitting the books.
The Boston Bruins forward, formerly of Harvard, is two days removed from signing his entry-level contract with his hometown Bruins. But life in the NHL wasn't enough to stop his educational aspirations.
On Monday, Donato made his NHL debut against the Columbus Blue Jackets, potting a goal and two assists, becoming just the second Bruin to tally three points in his first career game.
Donato will return to the Bruins for Wednesday's contest against the St. Louis Blues.
